Meet Sheena Chao – Product Sample Coordinator

Sheena is the first to handle samples after Purchasing, giving her a unique window into what’s coming next. She’s also the last to manage them post-shoot, offering rare insight into how the final design expressions are brought to life. “I love working with the wide variety of clothes and collaborating with amazing people,” she says. “I work closely with the merch team — we’ve built a strong bond, and the teamwork and energy make a real difference.”

The art of juggling

No two days look the same. She starts by receiving new samples, then supports upcoming shoots, handles internal requests, and keeps things flowing across teams. “One minute I’m preparing shoot samples, the next I’m placing an urgent order — you learn to switch gears fast.”

Rainy days and first laughs

As much as Sheena thrives in high-paced coordination, it’s the people around her who lift each day. “My first laugh always comes when someone cracks a joke after our morning greetings,” she says. That energy spills over into her favorite memory at NA-KD: team afterworks. “Whether in the office or out, we always have fun — talking, laughing, decompressing. Even after a stressful day, it brings me back to a better place.”
