The New York Dress Code: 4 days of cinematic fashion

By NA-KD
New York was calling. The kind of New York that feels cinematic in every possible way - yellow taxis rushing past brownstones, rooftop cocktails at golden hour, late dinners in the West Village, and getting dressed like the city itself is the runway. For three days, Manhattan became the setting for The New York Dress Code - a story inspired by iconic fashion moments.

Oh, and attending the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2, in the city where it was filmed.
That’s all.

A wardrobe for the cinematic night

Some cities make you want to dress differently. New York makes you want to become the main character. Throughout the trip, we embraced that exact feeling through fluid maxis and sculpted silhouettes, dresses designed for everything in between big entrances and late nights.

Photographed across Manhattan - from SoHo streets to the Upper East Side - the collection moved naturally with the city. Effortless pieces styled against cast-iron buildings, streets, rooftop views, and downtown evenings that felt straight out of a film scene. Nothing felt overstyled or complicated. Just effortless silhouettes, cinematic moments, and dressing like we belonged in the city.

The ultimate girls night in the city

Long lunches at Sant Ambroeus in the West Village. Espresso martinis, pasta to share, tiramisu at the table. Outfit changes between city walks and rooftop cocktails. Popcorn, music, skyline views, and that unmistakable New York energy that made every evening feel slightly surreal. There was this constant excitement in the air - chic, luxurious, effortless.

Pinch-me moments in Manhattan

More than anything, this trip became about sharing unforgettable moments together. From getting ready in hotel rooms to walking through Manhattan streets at night, we experienced this constant feeling of excitement and gratitude throughout the entire trip.

Every moment felt cinematic in its own way and attending the world premiere of The Devil Wears Prada 2 together felt especially surreal. For so many of us, the film shaped our love for fashion growing up, which made being there in New York feel like a real pinch-me moment.

We’re incredibly grateful to the amazing girls who joined us on this trip and brought The New York Dress Code to life in the most effortless way - Sara Biderman, Elisa Grillo, Janka Polliani, Johanna Lager, Chloe Schuterman, Alexia Kafkaletos, Pernille Wilby, and Tina Maria. Their energy, style, and presence made the experience what it was - chic, inspiring, unforgettable, and genuinely special from beginning to end.

Thank you for sharing this experience with us.
